Peanut Chocolate Banana Bread

Start with the Banana Bread:
-
Preheat oven to 325°F. Pre-grease a loaf pan. Sift the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
-
In a bowl of a stand mixer, fitted with a paddle attachment, cream the butter and sugar together until smooth.
-
Add eggs, bananas, honey, and lemon juice—and mix until smooth. Add dry ingredients in thirds, and mix until fully incorporated, making sure to not overmix.
-
Bake at 325°F for 45 mins.
Next, Make the Peanut Chocolate Topping:
-
Stir together the Bonne Maman Peanut Chocolate Spread, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and whole milk. Set aside.
Now, Go Back to the Banana Bread:
-
Once loaf has baked for 45 mins, rotate and cook for an additional 20–25 mins or until oven-spring is evident when lightly touched in the center.
-
Allow to cool for 15 mins. Remove from loaf pan, and let loaf fully cool before adding topping.
-
Spread peanut chocolate topping generously over the entire loaf. Top with chopped peanuts if desired, and enjoy.
