This is my second year ordering your Advent calendar. I only learned about it last year and purchased 2 for my Mom and myself. She initially scolded me for the expensive gift and then loved every day of it. It was the first thing on her Christmas list this year! My Mom is going to be 82 in February and I recently lost my Dad. I immediately ordered my limit of 2 as soon as I saw they were available. I presented my Mom with her early Christmas gift on Thanksgiving and she was delighted and couldn't wait for December 1st. After 10 days, I learned that she has had 3 duplicate spreads in that time period. I contacted Bonne Maman to inquire, and learned this calendar had mistakenly had 2 identical trays and they would be would be shipping a new one out to me. This review is solely about the shipping costs. I bought this advent calendar directly from the website (it was not available on Amazon) and had to pay shipping which brought the total to almost $60. The next day I see it becomes available on Amazon so no shipping costs. If you buy directly from them, they do not allow for returns of this item so I had to pay an extra $20 for a product I could have gotten on Amazon for cheaper. If I buy directly, it should be the same cost or cheaper than Amazon!

I did NOT receive a confirmation by email and had no way to determine if the item was really ordered. I'm guessing this is a failure in the Facebook/Selling interface. This is a great product that I've sent to not just myself but to two other friends so that they have it when December hits. The website, however, is very buggy (e.g., this is the second time this request for review has been sent). Scrolling often results in an almost staticky screen where it's difficult to "grab" the item you want, and I've also had to close the screen and come back so I could place my order.

I love this product and have ordered it for myself and two friends. However, the ordering process is confusing due to a buggy website that doesn't give a lot of room for errors and going back to other screens to edit an order. I also didn't receive a "Look ok?" screen before the order was confirmed. The screen also jumps while ordering, as it doesn't seem to handle hovering all that well.

What a lovely and unique idea. It’s a fun way to add a surprise to your day for the month of December. Our family celebrates Christmas in a purely secular manner and we had a lot of fun with this. The flavors are incredible and usually someone in the house will like it. Regifting in baskets or mugs or as stocking stuffers is also an option. I sent one as a gift to friends who have moved away and and they too were thrilled with it. Will definitely order again next year.

I got one of these calendars for each of my adult daughters. They loved having a new surprise jam or spread to try each morning! I got a photo from them each day showing me the flavor of the day. I gave this to my dear friend who is a full time caregiver for her invalid husband. She enjoys her morning coffee with a biscuit or toast and a little jam. She was beyond thrilled. So, I love the calendar, this is my second year getting it. I also got one for my sister and my best friend because I thought it would be a fun thing to share since we can't be together over the holidays. Now comes the slight disappointment, our calendars aren't in the same order! Some days 2 of us have the same ones and some days none of us do. its a bummer bc we can't share notes on the spreads. It's still fun and I have a tasty breakfast every morning but disappointing to not share it with them.

The only thing I would have done differently, if there were a way to do that, was have delivery delayed until mid or late November.
