Peach Preserves

Classic Easter Ham

Peach Preserves

Ham:

  • 1 Uncooked boneless pork leg (around 3 lb)
  • 1 Jar (13 oz) Bonne Maman® Peach Preserves
  • 3 Tbsp. Brown sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 2 Tsp. Clove, ground
  • 2 Tsp. Ginger, ground
  • ½ Tsp. Cardamom, ground

Brine:

  • 3 Quarts Water
  • ½ Cup Salt
  • ⅓ Cup Sugar

Steps

Brine:

 

  1. Heat water to a near boil, add salt and sugar, and turn off heat. 
  2. Allow to cool completely and then add pork.
  3. Brine for 24 hours.

 

Ham: 

 

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Mix Bonne Maman Peach Preserves, lemon juice, brown sugar, and spices in a small bowl (for baste). 
  3.  Tips: You can substitute peach for Bonne Maman Raspberry or Apricot preserves to introduce other exciting flavors to your ham!
  4. Place pork in a heavy-bottomed roasting pan with a rack.
  5. Baste pork every 10-15 minutes with the preserves mixture.
  6. Roast pork for 1.5 hours or until internal temperature reaches 140°F. 
  7. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
