Pressed Flower Lantern
-
Lay a piece of paper in front of you and plan where you'd like the flowers to go on the outside of your jar.
-
Place your clean jar, decoupage glue, and fan brush on a second sheet of paper nearby so they're ready to use (glue dries quickly.)
-
Apply a layer of decoupage glue to one section of the outside of the jar. Using tweezers, carefully place the dried flowers onto the coated area. The flowers will lightly stick to the jar.
-
Using your brush, paint more glue over the flowers, covering them completely. It may look a little cloudy, but it will dry clear.
-
Continue adding glue and flowers, section by section, following your design until the jar is decorated to your liking.
-
Allow the lantern to dry. While the glue will be dry to the touch in about 20 minutes, it can take up to 24 hours to dry completely.
-
Once the lantern is fully dry, place an LED tea light inside, and that's it!
