- ● An Assortment of Fragrant, Dried Natural Plant Materials of Your Choosing
- ● Essential Oil of Your Choosing for Extra-Strong Fragrance (Optional)
- ● 1 Bow for Decorating (Optional)
Directions:
Select an assortment of fragrant, dried natural plant materials, such as whole herbs and spices. For our potpourri, we used rosemary sprigs, cedar boughs, dried orange slices, star anise, and cinnamon sticks.
If you would like your potpourri to be exceptionally fragrant, you can place it in a container and add essential oil to it before sealing it up for 24 hours. A light tumble or mix will ensure that the essential oil is evenly distributed.
Transfer your potpourri into an empty Bonne Maman jar, and be sure to arrange the ingredients in whatever way is most aesthetically pleasing to you. Lastly, you can simply display the jar as is, or you can decorate it with a beautiful bow!
